Francisco G. Sapien, born July 21, 1932 in Albuquerque, NM. Lived a lively and vibrant life smiling, singing and telling stories all day long. No matter what he was going through, good or bad, he found the positive in everything and we could always count on him to make us laugh. Everyone around him loved to watch him play his guitar and sing his favorite songs dancing and singing right along. Grandpa was so proud of his career creating Louisville Slugger bats for professional baseball players and all players around the world. In his spare time, you could find him in his garage working on his wallets and belts as a leatherologist, a passion that never left him since day one.
His family was very near and dear to his heart. He loved and cherished his wife, Graciela Q. Sapien, his daughter Mary Q. Villanueva and son-in-law Frank E. Villanueva, most of all he loved to be surrounded by his granddaughters Yvonne Q. Fradella, Crystal M. Villanueva and his great grandchildren, Carlo, Angel, Elijah and Elias. Grandpa went home to be with his savior Jesus Christ on May 5, 2020 in the comfort of his own home at the age of 87. He will be missed dearly and will be remembered and spoken of for generations to come.
