Lawrence Macaraeg was born in the Philippines in 1972 and immigrated to the United States with his father, mother, and older sister in 1973. He worked in the casino industry as a dice dealer for over 20 years and recently became a licensed realtor. He died after a brave fight to leukemia at age 46, on February 17, 2019. Lawrence loved his family and his children gave him his biggest joy. He was devoted to the Virgin Mary and prayed the rosary. Being an avid video gamer and movie-goer, Braveheart, Game of Thrones, and World of Warcraft were among his favorites. Lawrence also wrote poetry and was known for his pranks and comical costumes. Lawrence is survived by the love of his life Amy Geiler and their son Gabriel (age 4); his ex-wife Stephanie Macaraeg and their children Vanessa (age 26), Katelyn (age 20), Kyle (age 17), and Alyssa (age 12); his mother Marian Macaraeg, siblings Sheryl Martinez, Miguel Martinez, and Laurelio Macaraeg Jr.; and niece Marissa Martinez and nephew Joseph Martinez.
